The Reflections program is a National PTA and Washington State PTA sponsored program. The program provides students an opportunity to express themselves and receive positive recognition in the areas of literature, music, photography, visual arts, film/video, and choreography/dance. Participating in the Reflections Program is an opportunity for students to explore various art forms, while learning to analyze their thoughts, feelings and ideas. Artistic exploration and expression enhance and develop intellectual, social, and physical skills.
The Reflections Program also helps parents encourage and recognize the continuous self-discovery process of their adolescents. Entries are judged on originality, ability, and interpretation of the theme. Entries can be created as a classroom assignment or independently at home.
