SAT Prep Course

The PTSA provides an SAT preparatory course for students at Skyline through SAT Prep, Inc. The first session of the 2007-2008 school year will be held at Skyline High School on Mondays and Wednesdays: October 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 5:45-8:30pm; Registration deadline: September 26, 2007.

The course includes a practice test offered on Saturday September 29, 7:30am to 12:30pm at Skyline.

SAT Prep, Inc. is owned and operated by two teachers from the Northshore School District, one of whom is the retired head of the IB program at Inglemoor High School. All instructors in the program are certified teachers. The program is a short but intensive course to help prepare students for the SAT. The Skyline PTSA receives a small portion of the fee as a fundraiser.

Mock SAT Test for Practice

The Skyline PTSA provides a mock SAT test for practice for our students. The test is administered by SAT Prep, Inc. The test can be taken without registering for the course. The first practice test will be held on Saturday, September 29, 7:30am to 12:30pm, at Skyline High School. The cost is $35 for students taking the test who are not registered for the course. Forms are available for download under “Forms.” Registration Deadline: September 21, 2007.

Mock ACT Test for Practice

The Skyline PTSA offers a mock ACT test for practice for our students. The test is an actual ACT test that has been used in the past and is now retired. Students will receive a detailed report of their results through the mail. There is no follow-up seminar since the report is self-explanatory. A practice ACT Test will be held on Saturday, 8am to noon, at Skyline. The cost is $30. Forms are available for download under “Forms.” Registration Deadline: September 14, 2007.
