Announcing the 2008-2009 Skyline High School Reflections Winners

This year, Skyline had 57 entries in the Reflections Competition, more than we've had in years!  This year's theme, "WOW!", really captured the artistic talent and creative imagination of our student participants.  Our judges were stunned at the exceptional work, and thoroughly enjoyed the judging process.  Among the judges comments were: "very original, excellent design composition, dramatic, bold, powerful, great Wow factor!"  The results were razor close among the Finalists and Honorable Mentions.  This year, we had the opportunity to pass along 16 Finalists to District, and are also awarding two top school awards: one Best of Show, and one Award of Excellence!  Our Finalists will continue to compete at the District Level.  Congratulations to the following students:

Reflections is a National PTA cultural arts competition, which started in 1969.  It provides a venue for students to create works of art in the following categories: Visual Arts, Literature, Music, Photography, Video and Dance.
